Live connectors
Pull the schedule from Primavera P6, costs from the ERP, drawings from SharePoint and daily logs from an Outlook mailbox on a timer, instead of uploading files. Each pull goes through the same checks as an upload: slips go to the delay log, missed contractor dates raise explanation requests, and the feed strip shows when each source last wrote. How passwords are kept
The platform never stores a password or token. Each connector names a setting on the server, starting
BOARDKIT_CONN_, and whoever runs the server puts the secret there. Timed pulls run when the server
has BOARDKIT_CONNECTORS=on:
OFF on this
server, so only Run now pulls.
Each secret serves only the projects and the server named next to it: BOARDKIT_CONN_P6_PROJECTS=CODE1,CODE2
and BOARDKIT_CONN_P6_HOST=p6.client.com. A connector on any other project, or pointed at any other
server, is refused, and no pull follows a redirect.

Primavera P6 EPPM
Reads the project, activities, relationships and activity codes from P6 web services
(the REST API, usually https://your-p6-server/p6ws/restapi). Trade, area, contractor and crane come from
the activity code types set on the upload page. The P6 user needs read access to the project only.
ERP or job cost web service
Any system that answers a JSON GET (Viewpoint, Sage, CMiC, JD Edwards, SAP or a report service in front of one). Map each column to the ERP's field name; dotted names reach into nested fields. Cost report columns: code, wbs, area, trade, budget, committed, actual, forecast.
Server folder
For a system that can only save a report on a timer: point its scheduled export at a folder in the server's drop folder. Each pull reads the newest matching file once, with the same columns as the upload page.
Outlook mailbox for daily logs
Contractors email their daily log as a CSV to one mailbox. Each pull reads new mail once, imports
CSV attachments from approved senders only, and lists anything it skipped. Mail is never moved, marked or
deleted. IT gives the app Mail.Read and limits it to this mailbox with an application access policy.
Columns: contractor, date, headcount, crew_hours.
