Timed pulls from P6 EPPM, an ERP, a server folder, SharePoint or Outlook that replace manual uploads.

Live connectors

Add a connector

  1. An administrator adds connectors and changes their settings; the PM runs, pauses and deletes them.
  2. Open Settings, then 'Live connectors: P6 and ERP pulls'.
  3. Pick the kind: Primavera P6 EPPM, ERP or job cost web service, Server folder, SharePoint doc control, or Outlook mailbox for daily logs.
  4. Fill in the address (https only) and the name of the server setting that holds the password or token. Press Save connector.
  5. Press Run now to test it. The run log shows who or what ran each pull.

Passwords and tokens are never stored in the platform. A connector only names a server setting starting BOARDKIT_CONN_ that holds the secret; your IT person sets it on the server, with the projects and the server it is for.

How pulls behave

  1. Each pull runs the same import as a file upload, so slips, missed dates and feed stamps work the same.
  2. Timers run only when the server has connectors switched on; otherwise use Run now.
  3. A failed pull leaves the data as it was and marks the feed FAILED. Pause or Resume a connector at any time.
