Receive a transmittal
Load every drawing on the transmittal at once. Each one goes to its own trade's board, so nobody digs through the whole pile. Name files like M-101_RevB_Felt roll bracket.pdf, or add the transmittal's drawing list.
Routing rules
Drawings already on the drawing register go to that trade. A rule sends every number that starts a certain way to one trade, for example M-2 to Millwright.
