Drawings, revisions and board photos

Only the current revision of each print reaches the field; old revisions go to the PM's vault.

Documents Superseded revisions

Prints on your board

  1. Each trade board has Prints for this trade: the current revision of every drawing and document filed to its trades, plus the ones for all trades.
  2. Open Documents in the top bar for the full list you may see. Trade leads and foremen see their own trades only.

Loading a new revision

  1. The PM or CM opens Documents and uses Load a drawing or a new revision: number, revision, trade and the file.
  2. If the number is already loaded, the new revision becomes current and the old one moves to the superseded vault at once.
  3. The same revision letter twice is refused, so a sheet is never replaced by itself.

The superseded vault

  1. Only the project's PM opens Superseded revisions. The CM, trade leads and administrators cannot.
  2. Every time the vault or one of its files is opened, the security log records who and when.

The camera button

  1. On a phone or tablet, Take a photo on the board opens the camera. On a PC it picks a photo file.
  2. Pick Progress or Evidence, add a caption and, if you like, the P6 activity, then Save photo.
  3. Each photo keeps who took it, when, and a fingerprint, so the copy shown later is the one that was taken.
